		<description>I thought your blog post was extrememly interesting. When we did not have an assigned topic for posting, I thought about researching Paterson as well. I think the author&#039;s life and expereince influences their writing. The quote you got was interesting, it really does show how down to earth she is. I like the fact that she doesnt hide or is not ashamed that everyday is not going to be a smooth one.</description>

		<description>I think that when you do some research on the author it really helps the reader to develop an understanding on the type of person it is that wrote the book you are reading.  It really helps me personally because I try to look at reasons the author may have written about certain things based on what I know about him or her.  Having read Paterson&#039;s book in high  school, I found that this quote from her helped me to take a different perspective on the read.</description>

		<description>Thats a great idea that you researched the authors past.  I find it very interesting how some authors who are great writers had no intention of becoming a writer.  I completely agree with your last line about how anyone can do it as long as they are in the right frame of mind.  I think that is so true!</description>
